SEDA KURT
After graduating from Bilkent University Department of Translation and Interpreting, Seda completed the European Union-funded Masters in Conference Interpreting Program at the same university with a full scholarship in 2009. During this period, she also studied at the Institut Libre Marie Haps
University in Belgium for one semester and had the opportunity to experience academic education abroad. Since 2009, she has worked continuously as a conference interpreter. First as a full-time interpreter in a highly technical EU project and then as a freelance interpreter, she acquired the ability to adapt to different subjects and environments, learning a new subject, environment, and terminology each time. She founded ANKA Conference Interpreters with her friends who had similar training and working habits. Since then, she has continued her career with ANKA.
GAMZE OKUR YAĞIZ
Gamze realised her interest in foreign languages during her education at Zonguldak Atatürk Anatolian High School and dedicated herself to this field. In 2003, she enrolled in Bilkent University Department of Translation and Interpreting on a full scholarship. After graduating with honours, she completed the European Union-funded Masters in Conference Interpreting Program at Bilkent University. After working in the freelance market for a while, she founded ANKA with her partners, who were first friends and then colleagues, with whom she enjoyed working together. Since then, she has been actively working in the field of translation and interpreting.
EBRU ERKUL AĞMAZ
Ebru started her undergraduate studies at Bilkent University’s English/French Translation and Interpreting Department with a similar degree to her partners. During her studies, she also benefited from the Erasmus Program and completed part of her studies in Brussels. She graduated from the Masters in Conference Interpreting Program in 2012 and took her first step into the profession. Since then, she has been doing her bit in both meetings and translation projects. After gaining experience in the profession for a while, she decided to join a corporate organisation with her university friends. She continues to work at Anka Conference Interpreters as a conference interpreter who has turned business travel into a lifestyle, like many of her colleagues who love to experience different emotions every day at work.
